(500) Days of Summer star Zooey Deschanel has landed the lead role in Fox's untitled comedy pilot from No Strings Attached co-writer Liz Meriwether, Variety reports.

The ensemble comedy, which was previously titled Chicks & D---s, explores the sexual politics of men and women through a female who moves in with three gruff men.
If the project is ordered to series, Deschanel would join her sister and Bones star Emily Deschanel on the Fox roster. She guest-starred on Bones in 2009.
