Zooey Deschanel is a newly single girl! The actress finalized her divorce from Ben Gibbard last Wednesday, Us Weekly reports.

The finalization comes a year after Deschanel, 32, filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.
The New Girl star and Death Cab for Cutie front-man got engaged in December 2008 and married the following September. After only two years of marriage, the couple split in November 2011.
Though Deschanel is legally single now, she isn't necessarily back on the market. The actress has been spotted out with screenwriter Jamie Linden.
