Zoe Saldana has every reason to be worried.
That's because Saldana stars in NBC's upcoming Rosemary's Baby miniseries as Rosemary Woodhouse, one-half of a young married couple who move into an apartment in Paris that has a dark past. A pregnant Rosemary soon starts to suspect that her neighbors belong to a satanic cult that has evil plans for her unborn child.
Returning spring shows: Where we left off
In this exclusive behind-the-scenes photo from the set, Saldana dons a pixie cut, a fake pregnancy bump, and a very concerned expression during a scene with her TV husband, Suits star Patrick J. Adams. The haircut is likely a nod to Mia Farrow's famous short 'do, which she sported in the 1968 Roman Polanski big-screen adaptation of the psychological horror novel of the same name.
In this second exclusive photo, sporting her natural longer locks, Saldana works closely with the miniseries' director, Agnieszka Holland (Treme, The Killing).
The two-part, four-hour Rosemary's Baby miniseries will premiere this May on NBC. Will you watch?
