Michael Muhney was abruptly fired from The Young and the Restlesslast month for allegedly groping his co-star, according to TMZ.
Muhney, 38, reportedly sexually harassed and bullied Hunter King, 20, who plays Summer on the CBS soap. After the married actor groped her breasts on two occasions, she complained that the contact was unsolicited and he was let go. According to TMZ's sources, this new charge was simply the final straw for Muhney who had a history of harassment on-set.

Shortly after being fired, Muhney admitted to Canada's Huffington Postthat some of the responsibility for the situation landed on him. "I saw it coming, and I didn't see it coming. I suspected it could happen, but I didn't think that it really would," he explained. "Part of me feels this is because I've always been outspoken, and sometimes I've been too outspoken. Sometimes I've walked around with a big backpack full of hubris. That is entirely on me."
Muhney's last episode will air Jan. 30. The character of Adam will return with a new actor after a three- to six-month break.
