VIDEO: Watch the Worst Olympic Dive Ever

Stephan Feck

Stephan Feck made a huge splash at the Olympics — but not the gold medal-winning kind.

Olympics: The top moments (so far!)

During the men's 3-meter springboard preliminaries, the German diver attempted a forward three-and-a-half somersault for his second dive. Mid-air, he lost his grip on his left leg, causing him to come out of his tuck and slam into the water on his back. Suffice it to say, it was not a textbook dive.

The gigantic splat drew groans from the crowd in the Aquatic Centre and zeroes across the board for Feck, who dropped out after the third round. But with every epic flop comes a silver lining: Internet infamy.
