Winter's Bone dominated the Independent Spirit Award nominations Tuesday with seven nods, including best picture.

The backwoods drama, which won best feature at Monday's Gotham Awards, is up against 127 Hours, Black Swan, Greenberg and The Kids Are All Right for the top prize. Winter's Bone is also nominated for director, screenplay and female lead (Jennifer Lawrence). Lawrence will face off against Annette Bening (The Kids Are All Right), Greta Gerwig (Greenberg), Nicole Kidman (Rabbit Hole), Natalie Portman (Black Swan) and Michelle Williams (Blue Valentine).
