Prince William and Kate Middleton have left for their honeymoon, St. James Palace announced Tuesday — without saying where they went.

"The couple have asked for their privacy to be respected during their honeymoon," a spokesman said.
William wed Middleton in an extravagant ceremony on April 29. The couple, now conferred as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, had announced they were delaying their honeymoon and instead left the next day to an undisclosed location in the U.K. for a short vacation.

They are scheduled to visit North America in June — their first foreign trip since getting married.
