Whitney Showrunner Steps Down

Whitney executive producer Betsy Thomas will be leaving the NBC comedy, EW reports. Wil Calhoun (Friends) will take her place.
Aside from his long-term stint producing Friends, Calhoun has recently worked on Kath & Kim, Gary Unmarried and I Hate My Teenage Daughter.
New showrunners to replace Dan Harmon on Community
The switch is yet another addition to the showrunner shakeup that's been going down at NBC of late. Smash, Community and The Office have all had major players leave their respective shows over the past few weeks.
Thomas leaves Whitney to serve as co-executive producer at NBC's new comedy Guys With Kids, starring Jesse Bradford, Zach Cregger and Anthony Anderson and created by Jimmy Fallon.
