It's time to play favorites, kids.

Last night on Glee, Jesse St. James and the worst teacher ever held auditions to see which of the New Directions crooners would take lead solo at Nationals next week (way to be prepared, Schu!). And while the tryouts all but crippled the emotional momentum of the main story — the death of Sue's sister — with almost 15 straight minutes of musical performances, the contrivance did have us wondering, who would take the prize in a sing-off between Kurt, Santana, Rachel and Mercedes?

Of course, because Will wussed out with his usual "Let's all be a team and sing together" hoo-ha, we never got a winner. But we did get four impressive, if useless, solos. Santana went all Lima Heights on Amy Winehouse's "Back to Black," Mercedes rocked Otis Redding's "Try a Little Tenderness," Kurt did his La Kurt Aux Folles thing to "Some People" from "Gypsy," and Rachel cry-sang her way through a version of "My Man" from "Funny Girl" that would have even Barbra saying "Hello gorgeous!"

So, we're asking you to chose: Which of the four wannabe soloists should have been given the lead spot? Or was there someone who didn't audition who should have? Let us know below!
