Get ready to see a lot more of Maggie Greene: Lauren Cohan has been upped to series regular on The Walking Dead for Season 3, TVGuide.com has confirmed.
The 30-year-old actress portrays the daughter of Hershel Greene (Scott Wilson), whose farm was the focal point of the second season. It was there that Maggie and Glenn (Steven Yeun) formed a relationship. The news, which was first reported by TVLine.com, comes as little surprise since her comic book counterpart is still alive as of Issue #95.
The Walking Dead finds its sword-wielding Michonne
Cohan's previous credits include Supernatural, Chuck and The Vampire Diaries, which she'll be returning to later this season.
The Walking Dead's 16-episode third season will premiere this fall.
