The Voice's Four Coaches Sign On for Season 2

Cee Lo Green, Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton

All four celebrity mentors of NBC's The Voice will be back.

The show, which gave the network a badly needed ratings hit, is keeping Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton, Cee-Lo Green and Adam Levine as the "musician coaches" for Season 2, NBC announced Thursday.

"Our fantastic coaches were integral to the tremendous success of The Voice this year and we are thrilled that they are all returning," NBC executive Paul Telegdy said. "We look forward to building season two and making 'The Voice' an even greater experience for fans."

The Voice winner Javier Colon: "The odds were stacked against me"

The singing competition show, modeled after a Dutch program and hosted by Carson Daly, debuted in April to 12.55 million viewers. Wednesday night's finale, which crowned Javier Colon as the fan-voted winner, drew 10.77 million viewers.

The Voice Season 2 is slated to return midseason on Mondays at 8/7c on NBC.
