Now that The View is done cleaning house, the daytime chat fest is reportedly looking to a few familiar faces to fill those empty chairs.
The New York Post's Page Six reports that frequent guest host and comedian Mario Cantone has been offered a deal to join the ABC show. This would be the first time a man has been offered a full-time spot on The View.

According to the report, producers are also working very hard to lure Rosie O'Donnell back. O'Donnell was on the show for just one year during which time she frequently sparred with the conservative Elisabeth Hasselbeck. Hasselbeck left in July 2013 to join Fox & Friends, but both returned this past May to help say goodbye to longtime host Barbara Walters, who retired in May.
In addition to Walters' departure, The View parted ways with hosts Sherri Shepherd and Jenny McCarthy last week. The only returning face this fall will be Whoopi Goldberg.
Do you think Cantone would make a good addition? Who do you want to see on The View?
