Former Vice President Cheney Suffers Mild Heart Attack

Doctors treating Dick Cheney say the former Vice President suffered a mild heart attack, according to CNN.

"Lab testing revealed evidence of a mild heart attack," a statement from Cheney's staff said. "He underwent a stress test and a heart catheterization. He is feeling good and is expected to be discharged in the next day or two."

Former Vice President Cheney hospitalized

Cheney was admitted to the hospital on Monday after complaining of  chest pains. This marks Cheney's fifth heart attack since 1978. Before becoming President George W. Bush's veep, he also underwent a quadruple bypass surgery.

Cheney remains in the hospital and is described as being in good spirits, according to CNN.
