Van Morrison and his wife, GiGi Lee, have welcomed a son, George Ivan Morrison III, the rocker announced on his website.
"Little Van, born Dec 28, 2009 — the spitting image of his daddy. He is a dual citizen of Northern Ireland/United Kingdom and the United States," the Irish-born singer wrote.

A rep for the music icon would not disclose a birth location or time, the Associated Press reports.
Morrison, 64, has three other children from previous relationships. Lee is his manager and was the executive producer of Morrison's concert DVD, Astral Weeks Live at the Hollywood Bowl.
