The CW has handed early fall renewals to five series: The Vampire Diaries, Gossip Girl, 90210, Supernatural and America's Next Top Model.
Vampire Diaries' Ian Somerhalder on Elena vs. Katherine
Vampire Diaries — the network's breakout hit of the season and its most-watched show — will be back for a sophomore run, while its Thursday night companion Supernatural will return for a sixth season.
Gossip Girl and 90210 will enter their fourth and third seasons, respectively, and Top Model heads into cycles 15 and 16.
