Exclusive Vampire Diaries First Look: The Season Finale Is on Fire!

Vampire Diaries' Damon and Elena have had their ups and downs, but it's hard to deny the passion between them. And it's even harder to deny it after checking out this exclusive first look at the Season 2 finale.
Vampire Diaries' Katerina Graham: "If Bonnie ever went down, she'd go down with a fight"
In the finale, ominously titled "As I Lay Dying," a Mystic Falls screening of Gone With the Wind leaves Damon (Ian Somerhalder) struggling to keep his memories of Katherine in 1864 separate from the present reality of Elena's (Nina Dobrev) impending danger. Is he shaking her in this photo to remind himself she's not Katherine? Is he warning her to run far, far away? Or is he about to pull her in for a long overdue passionate kiss? Hit the comments with your guesses!
But what about that fire? We know the finale focuses on the long-dreaded sacrifice ritual, which means more than one character's life is at stake. And from what we're hearing about the ritual's horrifying conclusion, we're not sure even the Salvatore Brothers will be able to save the day. Only three more weeks until we find out for sure.
