Ugly Betty might be bringing out a softer side of Wilhelmina Slater (Vanessa Williams) with the introduction of an ex, played by Broadway star Brian Stokes Mitchell, TVGuide.com has confirmed.
Mitchell, 52, joins Betty as Don, a simple man with simple needs — in other words, the last person you'd expect to see Willie dating.

Because Betty will be pre-empted several times in February, Mitchell likely won't appear until March. And his role is potentially recurring.
