USA has given series orders to A Legal Mind and Necessary Roughness, a network rep confirms to TVGuide.com.
A Legal Mind follows a prestigious Manhattan corporate lawyer (Love and Other Drugs' Gabriel Macht) who teams up with a street-smart college dropout lacking a law degree (Lost's Patrick J. Adams). The show comes from Aaron Korsh (The Deep End) and is executive-produced by The Bourne Ultimatum's Doug Liman.

Rescue Me alum Callie Thorne stars in Necessary Roughness, a show about a woman who becomes a therapist for a pro football team and soon lands more high-profile clients. The project comes from Liz Kruger and Craig Shaprio (Miami Medical).
The series pickups come just before the debut of USA's latest new series, Fairly Legal.
