Kurt Warner

Former NFL star Kurt Warner will host a new reality show on USA called The Moment, the network announced Wednesday.

The show, which has a nine-episode order, marks USA's first foray into unscripted programming. Each week, Warner will give someone a "second chance" at achieving their dream careers. Warner is a fitting choice to host the series as he legendarily went from bagging groceries to becoming Super Bowl MVP in 18 months.

Dancing's Kurt Warner: I'm "dumbfounded" by the instant dance

"As someone who knows firsthand what can happen when you are given a chance, I am truly excited to be part of this new series on USA Network," Warner said.  "The Moment is all about giving people a shot to realize their dreams and I am excited to be able to facilitate that for others through this show."

Warner, 40, was named MVP in Super Bowl XXXIV as quarterback for the St. Louis Rams and led the Arizona Cardinals to Super Bowl XLIII. He also competed on the eighth season of Dancing with the Stars.
