Tyler Perry's Meet the Browns is on its way to broadcast television.
The syndication company Debmar-Mercury's deal places the sitcom in more than 70 percent of the nation for a September debut on major station groups, including Fox, Tribune, CBS and Cox, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Tyler Perry sharpens the anchor with Meet the Browns and House of Payne
Browns, based on the movie of the same title, is the No. 1 series on TBS this season among adults aged 18-to-49.
As opposed to waiting the traditional four to five years, the Browns syndication launch is scheduled to happen 15 months after its premiere on TBS.
