True Blood's Courtney Ford is heading to NBC's Parenthood, TVLine reports. Ford will serve as Dax Shepard's (Crosby Braverman) love interest starting in January of next year.
Her character Lily is a successful cello player who meets Crosby while spending time at his recording studio. Lily will be a recurring character until the show's season finale on Feb. 28.

Aside from her role as Portia Bellefleur on season 4 of True Blood, Ford also played reporter Christine Hill in Dexter's fourth season.
She recently guest-starred on CBS's The Big Bang Theory and Hawaii Five-0.
