This week, Miley Cyrus did something great for once! The singer teamed up with The Roots and Jimmy Fallon for a truly awesome a cappella version of her song "We Can't Stop." Elsewhere, Hayden Panettiere showed off her knowledge of country music on Good Morning America, Danielle Brooks and Uzo Adubo from Orange Is the New Black acted out a scene from Scandal, and NCIS star Michael Weatherlyreleased a music video. Improv Everywhere Rocky: The comedy troupe Improv Everywhere, known for its flash mobs, is paying tribute to the movies this fall with the new web series Movies in Real Life. Each week, the group will re-enact a scene from a classic movie. The first one, staged at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, mimics Sylvester Stallone's famous training sequence in Rocky. Adrian! Orange Is the New Scandal: How do the cast members from Orange Is the New Black amuse themselves between takes? By recreating scenes from some of their favorite shows, apparently. Here, Danielle Brooks and Uzo Aduba (who play Taystee and Crazy Eyes, respectively, on the Netflix series), re-enact a dramatic scene from the Scandal Season 3 premiere featuring a conversation between Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) and her father. The clip is short, but oh so sweet.
Telekinetic girl: Call it brilliant stunt marketing. In order to promote the upcoming remake of the film Carrie, a girl (with the help of a stuntman) pretends to actually have telekinetic powers -- to the horror of unsuspecting patrons inside a Manhattan coffee shop.
