Tony Romo and Jessica Simpson have called it quits, People reports.
A source close to the pop star told the magazine that Dallas Cowboys quarterback Romo broke up with Simpson on Thursday — the night before her 29th birthday.

"She is heartbroken," said the source. "She loves Tony. But it's been difficult lately. He's busy with his career, and she's getting ready to shoot her show (The Price of Beauty). They decided to part ways."

On Friday, Romo was seen living it up at Hollywood hotspot MyHouse with several friends and no birthday girl in sight.
Simpon's ex-husband, Nick Lachey, and his girlfriend of three years, Vanessa Minnillo ended their relationship at the end of June. Perhaps the former Newlyweds could rekindle the old flame?
