So You Think You Can Dance

So You Think You Can Dance
9 pm/ET Fox
After tonight's results, the show will be down to 12 contestants, and these dozen dancers might want to watch and learn from the featured performer, Kelly Clarkson. Clarkson won the first season of American Idol, so she obviously knows how to survive on a reality show, and tonight she sings "I Do Not Hook Up" from her fourth album, All I Ever Wanted. Also, professional dancers Desmond Richardson and Patricia Hachey perform a pas de deux. — Joe Friedrich

1939: Hollywood's Greatest Year
10 pm/ET TCM
Many film critics, cinemaniacs and movie aficionados consider the year 1939 to be the ultimate annum for movie releases. To back it up, let's just list that year's Best Picture nominees: winner Gone with the Wind, Dark Victory, Goodbye Mr. Chips, Love Affair, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, Ninotchka, Of Mice and Men, Stagecoach, The Wizard of Oz and Wuthering Heights. Each one, arguably, a classic. This special examines that golden era, and it's rich in clips. — Ray Stackhouse

Naked Science
10 pm/ET National Geographic
This Saturday millions of Americans will ooh and aah over Fourth of July fireworks. This hour goes inside the Zambelli Fireworks laboratory in New Castle, Pa., to see how surprisingly basic materials — paper, string and gunpowder — are used to create those awe-inspiring displays that have come to symbolize the holiday. — Karen Andzejewicz

Penn & Teller: Bull!
10 pm/ET Showtime
Penn and Teller set their sights on "Astrology" in this stellar outing of the series. For starry-eyed believers and practitioners of the "pseudo-science," the two master debunkers do their best to bring them back to Earth. It's a gas watching them poke holes in these postulators who claim there's a "mystical correspondence between your destiny and the position the sun and moon were in when you were born." Another highlight is a college psychology teacher who runs an "astrology-busting experiment" on his class. — Ray Stackhouse

Southern Belles: Louisville
10 pm/ET SOAPnet
The ladies are in store for a lot of drama tonight, and for Kellie that means conflict. Soon after discovering that she can have children, Kellie learns that her boyfriend, Jeff, doesn't want to have any more kids. Meanwhile, Hadley gets closer to calling bad boy Russ her boyfriend now that they finally go on an official date. And Shea starts resembling a shopaholic after she gets carried away with her wedding shopping. — Jennifer Sankowski
