VIDEO: Toni Braxton Talks Bankruptcy, Making Less Than $2,000 on a Multi-Platinum Album

Toni Braxton

Toni Braxton has a new hit reality series, Braxton Family Values (Tuesdays at 9/8c on We), but the R&B legend was initially reluctant to participate — until her sisters told her it would be a good venue for her to discuss her very public bankruptcies.

In the video below, Braxton gives us some insight on her financial woes and explained how her royalties for her 1996 album Secrets (containing the No. 1 hits "You're Makin' Me High" and "Un-Break My Heart") came out to be less than $2,000. That's crazy.
