Celebrity chef Todd English was arrested on a DWI charge Sunday while driving in the Hamptons, The New York Post reports.
According to police, English was pulled over for drifting out of his lane at 3:30 a.m. near the Shinnecock Hills Golf Club. Sources allege that English admitted to drinking two glasses of wine, but refused a Breathalyzer test.

The restaurateur was charged with a misdemeanor DWI and making an improper turn. He was out of court by 10 a.m. Monday, following his arraignment and posting $1,500 bail.
English had "been celebrating his [54th] birthday since Thursday," a source said. Witnesses also said that he had dined at the East Hamptons restaurantSienna with a group of friends, drinking wine and other beverages before going to a nightclub next door.

English's lawyer, Eddie Burke Jr., denied the chef had done anything wrong or dangerous. "We adamantly deny the allegations levied against Mr. English and look forward to addressing this matter in a court of law," Burke said in a statement.
This is not the first time English's partying ways have caught up to him. He lost control of Olives, his New York restaurant, to the Gerber Group management firm over such antics.
