SNL Feels a Little Bit Country... and a Bit Ludacris

Tim McGraw

Having made lots of partisan noise during this past election season, Saturday Night Live will sing a slightly different tune when Tim McGraw — the sketch series' first country-music guest of this decade — steps up as host on Nov. 22.

"I'm looking forward to hosting the show," he says in a statement. "I'm not exactly known for my comedy, but then again, if you've been to one of my shows, you might feel differently."

McGraw is sticking to just hosting duties and the occasional sketch (and hopefully at least one cameo by his pretty wife, Faith Hill). Supplying tunes for the end-of-sweeps outing will be Ludacris and T-Pain (not to be confused with S-Palin).

How do you think McGraw will fare as a host? His SNL predecessors from the world of pickin' and a-grinnin' include Garth Brooks and Dolly Parton.
