Tila Tequila

Soon after Casey Johnson's death, Tila Tequila spilled her emotions as she often does: with confusing and inaccurate tweeting. After saying her new fiancee was dead, Tequila said she had just learned the Johnson & Johnson heiress was in fact in a coma. She soon reverted to saying she had died, a fact confirmed by police and Johnson's family. Many following the tweets responded with shock: Why was Tequila tweeting about this at all? But it was only the latest reminder that Tequila is best taken with a grain of salt.

1. A Shot at Motherhood?: In May 2009, Tequila, 28, said she was pregnant and asked the child's "A-list" father to step up. "I'm gonna tell y'all something REAL FAST, then delete it ok?... Since nobody is awake... reason why I've been feeling sick on and off lately is because yes, I am pregnant!"
Retraction: Keeping to her word, she deleted the tweet. A month later, Tequila announced on her MySpace page that she was "not currently pregnant" despite "pregnancy rumors" to the contrary. In the accompanying video, she said she needed to clear the air after her friends started asking her questions. Maybe because she said she was pregnant?

2. Tackled?: In September, Tequila was hospitalized after an altercation with her then-boyfriend, San Diego Charger Shawne Merriman, in which she claimed he attacked her. Merriman said the incident occurred because he tried to prevent her from driving drunk. Tequila denied being drunk in a tweet, stating that she's allergic to alcohol. Club owner James Brennan, however, said Tequila was drinking the night of the altercation. "It sounds like she's allergic to the truth," he said.
Retraction: None. But no charges were filed against Merriman due to what police said was a lack of evidence, despite Tequila publicly displaying what she said were bruises on her arm. Tequila sued the NFL star in November, accusing him of battery, false imprisonment and emotional distress. Merriman in turn sued Tequila for copyright infringement, accusing her of using photos of him on her site without permission.

3. A Second Shot?: For the second time in seven months, Tequila announced a pregnancy on Twitter — this time saying she was a surrogate for her brother. "BIG ANNOUNCEMENT: I am going to become a SURROGATE MOTHER for my brother & his Wife!!! That is my xmas present to them. Im pregnant!!!!" she wrote.
Retraction: Days later, Tequila said she was not actually pregnant yet, blaming that pesky 140-character limit on her choice of words.

4. Life After Death?: An hour after tweeting that Johnson had died and that she would go offline to mourn, Tequila returned to report the supposed coma. "I know u can feel me Casey! Dot let go! I'm almost home baby please hang on!" she tweeted. "We have a beautiful life planned out for us! I LOVE u! Hang on!"
Retraction:  After learning her "wifey" was, in fact, dead, Tequila continued to tweet her grief. "I can't stop these haunting visions of her and I. We made such a lovely couple, only beginning to spend the rest of our lives together," she wrote.
