Tila Tequila Hospitalized After Altercation with NFL Player Boyfriend

Reality star Tila Tequila received medical attention after an altercation with her boyfriend, NFL player Shawne Merriman, according to The Associated Press.
Tila "Tequila" Nguyen, 27, signed a citizen's arrest warrant Sunday morning, charging Merriman, a player for the San Diego Chargers, with battery and false imprisonment, San Diego County Sheriff's Lt. Gary Steadman told the AP. Merriman was taken into custody when authorities responded to a disturbance call at his home.
The A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila star told authorities "she had been choked and physically restrained by Merriman when she attempted to leave his residence," police told NBC San Diego.
Nguyen was taken to a hospital, but her condition was not immediately available.
