Tia Mowry is out of The Game.
The 33-year-old actress will not appear in the show's sixth season. Speculation first began after her character, Melanie Barnett-Davis did not appear in Tuesday's new episode. Mowry confirmed the news Tuesday on Twitter.

"Just wanted to let all my fans know that I will not be returning to The Game for season 6," she wrote. "It was an incredible run and I had lots of fun along the way. I am looking forward to my upcoming projects...the release of my book Oh Baby, Season 2 of [Tia & Tamera] on [the Style Network] premiering in June, and my [ABC Family] movie coming out in December...more to come!"
A rep for the BET series did not immediately respond to TVGuide.com's request for comment.
