The dance competition's two-hour Season 6 finale featured performances from Jennifer Lopez, Adam Lambert — who behaved himself during the live show — and Mary J. Blige. But at the end of the evening, it was all about the winner.

Kathryn McCormick took third place, followed by Ellenore Scott, Ashleigh Di Lello and Ryan Di Lello in fourth, fifth and sixth, respectively.

The runner-up: Jakob Karr.

Which made the winner ... Russell Ferguson!

The 20-year-old Boston native was the first krumper to ever make the top 20. He has been applauded by judges Nigel Lythgoe, Mary Murphy and Adam Shankman throughout the season for his amazing growth.

Russell was injured during the finale, and was forced to sit out of two of the judge's encore performance picks. (They aired taped performances instead.) Although Jakob was named runner-up, Kathryn — as the top-ranking female contestant — gets to perform with Russell at the Academy Awards ceremony next year. Shankman is producing the Oscars telecast for the first time.

Readers in TVGuide.com's poll correctly picked the top two, although Jakob was easily their favorite with 46 percent of the vote compared with Russell's 27 percent.
