BET Renews The Game, Let's Stay Together

The Game

BET has renewed The Game for a fifth season.

The order is no surprise as the sitcom — rescued by BET after CW axed it two years ago — has been a ratings success for the network. The season premiere drew a record 7.7 million viewers and the season finale bowed out to 4.4 million.

In addition, the network has picked up a second season of the comedy Let's Stay Together and has given a series order to the sitcom Reed Between the Lines. The project stars Tracee Ellis Ross as a psychiatrist juggling her professional and personal lives.

BET will make a formal announcement of the pick-ups at its upfront Wednesday.
