Gossip Gal Recovering from "Life-Threatening" Throat Infection

Taylor Momsen is currently recovering after coming down with a "severe, potentially life-threatening throat infection," Us Weekly reports.
"I have been treating Miss Taylor Momsen for the last few days," Momsen's doctor, Shawn Nasseri, told Us. "She has been an excellent patient, and after aggressive antibiotics and medications, she is expected to make a full recovery in the next three to five days."
After waking up with a sore throat Sunday in L.A., Momsen was advised to see a doctor before returning to New York, where she shoots Gossip Girl, and was subsequently hospitalized at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
The actress, 15, was released Wednesday afternoon and will fly back to New York later this week with her mother, who had flown out to be at her daughter's bedside, a source told the magazine.
