Hawaii Five-0's Taryn Manning Arrested on Assault Charges

Taryn Manning was arrested Thursday for allegedly assaulting her makeup artist, TMZ.com reports.
The 33-year-old actress (Hawaii Five-0, 8 Mile) appeared in court Friday morning for two misdemeanor charges stemming from the alleged attack, in which she is accused of punching and kicking the 23-year-old alleged victim. Manning was released on her own recognizance.
The incident took place at New York City's Dream Downtown Hotel, the same hotel where Lindsay Lohan was recently accused of clipping a pedestrian with her car.

Manning's attorney, Joe Tacopina, tells People that the whole incident has been blown out of proportion. "They'd been together every waking minute and they got on each other's nerves and had a little incident. It was a minor physical incident."
Tacopina also said the makeup artist, Holly Hartman, does not intend to press charges. "I expect it to be resolved based on the conversation I had with [Hartman]."
