Fran Drescher

TV Land has ordered two new sitcoms headlined by Fran Drescher and Scrubs alum Donald Faison.

In addition, the network has renewed the George Segal comedy Retired at 35 for a second season and increased Hot in Cleveland's third-season episode count from 22 to 24.

"TV Land is committed to building a new home for situation comedies and we are ecstatic to build and expand on the success of our original scripted programming," TV Land President Larry W. Jones said Monday.

Happily Divorced is based on Drescher's real life and revolves around an L.A. florist, Fran (Drescher), who deals with dating after finding out her husband of 18 years (John Michael Higgins) is gay. It is Drescher's first series since The Nanny. Tichina Arnold and Rita Moreno also star.

The Exes
, a working title, stars Faison, Wayne Knight, David Alan Basche and Kristen Johnston and follows three divorced men who live together in an apartment across the hall from their divorce attorney. Knight and Johnston previously worked together on 3rd Rock From the Sun.

Happily Divorced, The Exes and Retired at 35 have all received orders for 10-episode seasons. The Exes and Retired at 35 are slated to premiere in the winter.
