TV Land has ordered two comedy pilots including one based on Fran Drescher's life, the network announced Monday.

Using the off-screen experiences of The Nanny star, Happily Divorced follows a woman's dating struggles after she finds out that her husband is gay. The show looks at how the main character balances her relationship with her boyfriend and ex-husband.

Drescher, 53, wrote the pilot and will produce with her ex-husband, The Nanny executive producer Peter Marc Jacobsen. The couple divorced in 1999 after 21 years of marriage. Jacobsen later revealed he was gay.

Drescher and Jacobsen are also collaborating on her new daytime show, The Fran Drescher Tawk Show, which premiered Friday.

Rip City is an office comedy set at a company called Rip City Cola. The entire office is turned upside down when a young Ivy League-educated woman takes the reins. Rip City is written by Terri Minsky (Cashmere Mafia) and executive-produced by Michael Hanel and Mindy Schultheis.

Hanel and Schultheis are also producers on TV Land's new comedy Retired at 35, which premieres in January alongside the second season of Hot in Cleveland.

"TV Land had such a huge success with Hot in Cleveland and we have really found that sitcoms are what our audience loves and responds to," TV Land President Larry W. Jones said. "We want to focus on programming that speaks to relatable life stage issues for our viewers in their 40s."

Happily Divorced and Rip City join previously announced pilot Ex Men.
