TLC Unlikely to Renew Sarah Palin’s Alaska

Sarah Palin may be able to see Russia from her house, but audiences won't be seeing a second season of TLC's Sarah Palin's Alaska.

Had Palin continued with the series, it might have signaled that she was not going to run for office. EW notes that in not shooting a second season, Palin gets TLC off the hook from having to provide her fellow candidates with equal-access time should she decide to run.

The premiere of Sarah Palin's Alaska was watched by nearly 5 million viewers. The show has averaged 3.2 million viewers throughout the season.
