Kevin James, George Lopez

TBS says it's "very funny," so it's only fitting the network will look for more laughs in the 2009-10 season, in both 3-D and 2-D form and from former sitcom stars.

Already scheduled to return are Tyler Perry's Meet the Browns, which will launch its second season May 27, and The Bill Engvall Show, which will inhabit Saturdays when its third season starts in July.

In November, the network will premiere George Lopez's new talk show that "promises to change the late-night landscape" with its street-party ambiance.

Getting in on the animation game, TBS will debut Neighbors from Hell in 2010, featuring the Hellmans, a clan that actually is from the underworld.

In development is The Game of Life, a half-hour comedy from ex-King of Queens star Kevin James, who will executive produce the project. Life focuses on four Pittsburgh friends as they reunite in their early 30s and realize their lives didn't turn out as planned.

Other series in development:

Big Tow: animated sitcom focusing on J.D. Biggs, a small-town single dad and towing company owner who happens to be a local hero

Wee Hours: a sketch comedy featuring the Second City comedy troupe
