TBS has ordered six episodes of The CeeLo Life, starring five-time Grammy winner CeeLo Green, the network announced Friday.
The reality show will follow the former Voice coach as he balances producing, recording and performing, all the while attempting a Goodie Mob revival.
Fall TV Scorecard: What's canceled?
"With his distinctive voice, winning personality and remarkable ability to tap into a wide range of musical styles, CeeLo Green has risen to the top of the music industry," Michael Wright, TBS and TNT's head of programming, said in a statement. "This new TBS series will give viewers the chance to get to know CeeLo Green, who is without a doubt one of the hardest working men in show business. The CeeLo Life is certain to be a smart, fun and funny journey packed with a lot of great music."
Legendary hip-hop group Goodie Mob, which consists of Green and his friends Khujo, T-Mo and Big Gipp, rose to fame in the '90s and will release its fifth studio album on Aug. 27.
The CeeLo Life will premiere next year.
