Exclusive: Lost Alum to Recur on Switched as Birth
Switched at Birth's Bay (Vanessa Marano) is getting a new BFF and she won't exactly be a family favorite.
Lost alum Tania Raymonde has been cast on the ABC Family series, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively. She'll play a street artist named Zarra, who begins her arc in the second episode.

"Whenever Bay has a lot of turmoil she turns to her street art so her street art becomes more important this cycle," executive producer Lizzy Weiss told TVGuide.com. "This leads her to a brand new friendship and I'm excited about how she challenges Bay in different ways."

As viewers have seen over the course of Season 1, Bay loves to challenge her parents, John (D.W. Moffett) and Kathryn (Lea Thompson) Kennish, and this relationship is no different.
"Let's just say [Bay] makes some friends that would not necessarily be welcome at the Kennish dinner table," Weiss adds.
Raymonde is most known for her role on the ABC drama as Alex Rousseau, who was raised on the island and adopted by Ben Locke (Michael Emerson). She most recently appeared on 90210.
Switched at Birth returns on Monday, Sept. 3 at 8/7c.
