The pressure of being an overnight sensation may be taking its toll on Susan Boyle.
The Scottish Britain's Got Talent finalist was upset after an encounter with two journalists at her London hotel, according to a report in The Sun. The British tabloid also reportedly claims that Boyle stormed out of the hotel and spoke to police outside.
"Two journalists were harassing her and pushed her over the edge," a spokeswoman for Boyle told the Associated Press. "She was left slightly distressed and the journalists were removed from the building by police."
Talent show judge Piers Morgan addressed the report during a radio interview Thursday. "You could see the nerves almost crippling her on the semifinal show, and I just think it's time that everyone slightly backed off," he said.
Boyle skyrocketed to fame after her Talent performance of "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Miserables. She will be competing for the top spot in Sunday's finale.
