Laura Vandervoort will return for the final season of Smallville as Kara Zor-El, better known as Supergirl, a studio rep confirms.
The 25-year-old actress, who stars on ABC's remake of V, will appear in at least one episode during the 10th and final season.

Vandervoort is the second familiar face to return to Smallville. John Schneider, who played the dearly departed Jonathan Kent, will make an appearance as well.
