Eminem appeared in two very different Super Bowl commercials — a comedic spot for Lipton Brisk Iced Tea, and a more serious one for Chrysler, dedicated to the company and rapper's hometown of Detroit. The commercial helped boost the car company to the top spot of the 2011 Brand Bowl.

Oscar winners including Cuba Gooding Jr. and Adrien Brody also made appearances, starring in new spots for Groupon.com and Stella Artois beer, respectively.

Snickers, which ran a Betty White commercial last year that helped kick off a banner year for the 89-year-old actress, called on "whiny" comedians Richard Lewis and Roseanne this time.
