The Wings star, 50, could return next season as a recurring guest should NBC renew the family drama for a third season.
Steven Weber, D.L. Hughley join TNT pilot
Weber will play Jack Kraft, the artistic director of the Berkeley Theater Company, where Sarah will — spoiler alert! —debut her play later this season. As reported by TVGuide.com, Jack is a formidable former protégé of Sarah's mentor, Gilliam (upcoming guest star Richard Dreyfuss).
Aside from his seven-year-run on Wings, Weber is also best known for playing the TV network boss on Studio 60. He guest-starred as a love interest for Mary McCormack's character on In Plain Sight last year and was recently cast in an untitled TNT pilot based on the novel, The Rabbit Factory.
