Steven Tyler Apologizes to Nicki Minaj Over Idol Blast: I'm Not a Racist

Is American Idol's latest feud already coming to an end?

Steven Tyler apologized to Nicki Minaj and said he never meant his comments to sound racist. "I apologize if it was taken wrong, Nicki," he told Canadian entertainment show eTalk on Tuesday.

Steven Tyler blasts new Idol judges; Nicki Minaj calls him a racist

"But I am the farthest from [being a racist]," the Aerosmith rocker continued. "I am the last thing on this planet as far as being a racist. I don't know where she got that out of me saying I'm not sure how she would've judged Bob Dylan."

Tyler criticized the new Idol judges, including Minaj, earlier this week when he told MTV News that they would have sent Bob Dylan to "the cornfield." Tyler later said he only meant to imply that they would have sent Dylan home. "You assume that I wouldn't have liked Bob Dylan??? why? black? rapper? what? go f--- yourself and worry about yourself babe," Minaj tweeted shortly after Tyler's initial comments hit the web.

Will Minaj fire back again? Or is this really the end (for now)?
