Steven Spielberg is producing a live-action TV adaptation of the hugely popular Halo video game series, Xbox announced Tuesday in a presentation for the new Xbox One.
"For me, the Halo universe is an amazing opportunity to be at that intersection where technology and myth-making meet," Spielberg said in a video message. The series will be available on Xbox's streaming service Xbox Live, Wired reports. No premiere date or further details were given.

In April, Xbox was reported to be interested in rebooting NBC's canceled superhero series Heroes.
