Katherine Heigl and Josh Kelley

The country-music industry sure is a welcoming bunch. While the genre's heavy hitters — like big winners Miranda Lambert and fiancé Blake Shelton — were the guests of honor at last night's 44th annual CMA Awards, Nashville also rolled out the red carpet for stars from Hollywood, the sports world and even Vegas showrooms.

Here's who we spotted on the rug:

Better with You star Joanna Garcia arrived with New York Yankees outfielder and fiancé Nick Swisher on her arm. The actress reunites with her former TV mom, Reba McEntire, on next Wednesday's episode of Better. "I wouldn't be where I am today if it weren't for Reba," Garcia said.

A radiant Katherine Heigl showed support for her singing husband Josh Kelley, who says the former Grey's Anatomy actress often travels with him on the road, along with their adopted 22-month-old daughter, Naleigh. "We've been on tour with Miranda Lambert for the past couple months and she came out with Naleigh for three shows in Texas," said Kelley, who hosted a listening party for his upcoming CD, Georgia Clay, earlier this week in Nashville, with Heigl in attendance.

Broadway actress-turned-country-starlet Laura Bell Bundy revealed she'll be shooting more episodes of How I Met Your Mother this month. Bundy will reprise her role as Robin's quirky co-anchor Becky. "They haven't killed me off yet, so I'm coming back," she joked, teasing that she has her own idea of who the mother of Ted's kids may be. "I have my own guess, but I would lose my job if I told you!"

Gwyneth Paltrow, in an awfully revealing dress, whisked past reporters to prepare for her show-closing performance of "Country Strong," the title track from her new musical drama, in which she plays a washed-up country star.

Or perhaps she was just trying to evade... Carrot Top? The prop comic was inexplicably wandering the carpet, showing off his famous orange curls and pumped-up biceps. "I want to see Gwyneth Paltrow," he said. "Not only see her, because she's beautiful, but also hear her sing." No joke!
