As host of TV Guide Network's Standup in Stilettos, Flannery says she's thrilled to show off many up-and-comers, rising stars and even familiar faces not known for comedy. And it's about time, she adds.

"It seems like we're righting a wrong. It's so long overdue," Flannery told TVGuide.com. "The idea that women aren't funny is completely over. This show really holds up because the talent really holds up and there are so many other funny women that we've just barely scratched the surface."
