Debra Messing is finding new love — on TV, that is.
Daniel Sunjata (formerly of Rescue Me and Grey's Anatomy) is joining the cast of Smash as a love interest for Messing's character Julia, Entertainment Weekly reports.

Last season, Julia's marriage to Frank (Brian d'Arcy James) fell apart after she had an affair with Michael (Will Chase, whom Messing is romantically linked to in real life).
Sunjata will have a recurring role as Julia's new guy, according to the report. NBC previously announced that neither James nor Chase would be returning to the Broadway drama, meaning that Julia will presumably be ready to move on. But complicating matters? Last season's finale hints that Julia might be pregnant — and if she is, it's unclear if the baby is Frank's or Michael's.
