Skye McCole Bartusiak
Actress Skye McCole Bartusiak, who played Mel Gibson's daughter in the 2000 film The Patriot, died Saturday at her home in Texas, according to TMZ. She was 21. The cause of death is unknown.
According to TMZ, Bartusiak was found dead Saturday morning in a garage apartment behind her home. No foul play is suspected, and there are no "obvious signs" of suicide, TMZ reports.

Born in Houston, Bartusiak began acting at age 7, when she appeared inThe Cider House Rules. Her other film credits include Riding in Cars with Boys, Don't Say a Word and 2012's Sick Boy.
On television, Bartusiak appeared in a recurring role as Megan Matheson in24, as well as guest spots on House, Touched by an Angel and CSI. She also played young Marilyn Monroe in the miniseries Blonde.
She is survived by her parents, Raymond Donald Bartusiak and Helen McCole.
